Summer Camp

Summer Camp at The Children’s Schoolhouse

Join us for a playful and engaging summer camp experience at The Children’s Schoolhouse. Our summer program offers young children the freedom to explore, create, and connect in a relaxed and nurturing environment.

Camp takes place in our historic schoolhouse and expansive outdoor spaces, including a large playground, greenhouse area, and raised garden beds. Children spend their days immersed in hands on play, imagination, and open ended activities designed to spark curiosity and joy.

Children do not need to be enrolled in the school year program to attend summer camp. We welcome both returning families and new families from the community.

A Playful and Creative Summer

Our summer camp program unfolds through a different theme each week, offering children rich opportunities to explore building, movement, imagination, and sensory experiences in a playful and engaging way.

Each theme is intentionally open ended, allowing children to follow their interests, collaborate with peers, and engage at their own pace. Activities are designed to invite curiosity and creativity rather than focus on structured outcomes.

Rather than emphasizing rigid goals or finished products, our summer program centers on exploration, creativity, and social connection. Children are given the space to enjoy summer in a way that feels natural, joyful, and meaningful.

Our experienced Schoolhouse teachers bring decades of early childhood experience and look forward to creating a warm, supportive, and engaging camp environment where children feel safe to explore, create, and connect.
